My daughter Lowri married Steven yesterday at Norton House and I wanted to take a moment to tell you about our day with you.
Every single thing was perfect. The staff were wonderful without exception – friendly, smiling, nothing too much trouble. Everyone from the bar staff to the servers to the managing team the wedding planner the DJ and the security were an absolute credit to you.
The food was something else. Wow. We had an absolutely first class wedding breakfast, so well cooked and presented it felt really special and the compliments amongst our guests were universal. We have been to many weddings and functions over the years and it sadly feels normal to expect a lukewarm very average mass catered meal – we certainly saw none of that at Norton House. The evening buffet was also fabulous. A really lovely selection of crowd pleasers (chips went down very well) along with wraps and wings which brought something a little different. The Norton House chefs and kitchen team delivered a next level experience for us and need a huge pat on the back. We will definitely be returning for a meal when we have recovered from the wedding! Thank you for making the day so perfect. We could not have chosen a better place.

Thank you so much Norton House. Every single member of staff that we saw, spoke to or was served by was incredible!! Our Wedding breakfast servers in particular were so welcoming and a delight from start to finish. Every single guest, has sent their compliments to the venue, and the food itself was outstanding! Special mention to Ruth and Alan – Ruth had us hooked on the venue and its unique charm from the first time we met her and absolutely nothing was too much trouble. She nailed every request. Alan (owner) – host skills are top tier and I don’t think they could be beaten by anyone, anywhere! During out day, the weather held off for the most part. However, the heavens opened and a huge thunderstorm occurred while all our guests were stood under shelter in the garden. Myself and my now Husband were safely inside. The next thing we see, is the owner Alan, along with several members of staff, escorting guests in 1s and 2s from the shelter to the main house under umbrellas. They themselves were absolutely soaked! Our guests were completely dry. That is service beyond anyone’s expectation! It also made for some hilarious wedding pictures! The best day of our lives at Norton House Hotel. To any couple looking at the perfect venue for your wedding or any special celebration, look no further than this magical place with its outstanding staff!

We held our Golden Wedding Anniversary celebration at Norton House with a hot buffet lunch yesterday. The service was outstanding as was the food. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful – very attentive and remembered all our requests.
The venue was perfectly sized for the party and they catered for young and old alike with guests ranging from 1year old to 97 years old.
All in all a fabulous day – all we’ve heard from our guests is how fantastic the food was. Highly recommended
I stayed for two nights as part of a wedding party, the ceremony was also at the hotel. It was a wonderful experience. The staff were all very helpful and polite. I really enjoyed my stay and the wedding was wonderful,
Went to a wedding here and also stayed in this hotel last weekend. This place was incredible! The food was surprisingly good from the breakfast to the Welsh lamb dinner at the wedding. The staff were attentive and friendly throughout the weekend, and even though our party was rather demanding, nothing was too much trouble. The room was lovely, clean and very quiet, so had a really good nights sleep. A special thank you to Alan who managed the wedding which ran perfectly (which is unusual in my experience at weddings!).He even took the time to introduce himself to guests which made them feel very special and well looked after. I would highly recommend this hotel for an event or even a place to stay if you want to visit this beautiful part of Wales. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay so enjoyable and comfortable.
Our daughter and new son in law held their home wedding party here on Bank Holiday Sunday. Wow! We had a wonderful evening in a beautiful hotel with lovely surroundings. The hot buffet was superb. Seafood platter, a variety of salads, pate, steak pie and coq au vin plus veg and more. There was something for everyone with nobody disappointed. The service was outstanding and all the staff were welcoming, professional and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Quite a few family and friends stayed overnight. The rooms were all beautifully furnished. Breakfast in the morning was great too. If you’re visiting Mumbles I would highly recommend you either stay here or pop in for lunch/dinner. Thank you Alan for making the night extra special, we loved every minute.
I just love this place. Got married there March 2018 and came back for our complimentary stay on our first anniversary. We live in Swansea so don’t stay over a lot. It was a real treat. Alan and his staff are so accommodating. Sunday lunches are first class here too. Well done the team.
