Dear Karen,
I am writing to thank-you for a very successful lunch last Friday the 14th October. All the members of Pennard bridge club thoroughly enjoyed it; I have not had one complaint. They all enjoyed the food and would like to return in the future.
I have two apologies: First my very late e-mail to thank-you all for the hard-work and the Chef for his good food : My internet went down and so I have had to wait until my son came this evening to put it right for me.
The second apology is for the extra two members who arrived; they were not on my list and this upset all the tables.They just presumed they could drop -in. However, it was a lovely day enjoyed by all. My thanks to everyone.
