Golfing Breaks Norton House is lucky enough not only to be location in an area with such outstanding natural beauty but also for the golfing fans amongst you there's not shortage of golf ranges and coursing to choose from, some of which have held international tournaments.
A 5 minute drive towards Swansea will take you to the Clyne Golf Club located near the entrance to Mumbles in the Clyne Valley. With excellent views over Swansea bay and the Mumbles to enjoy.
A short 5 minute drive away in the other direction we have the lovely Langland Bay Golf Club with its spectacular views over the Bristol Channel in the one direction and the astonishing hills over the Brecon Beacons in the other.
Little more than 15 minutes away by car is the Pennard Golf Club with its equally stunning views of the Bristol Channel. 200 feet about sea level and built into the Pennard Burrows, voted just outside the top 50 of the top 100 UK golf course a day on the course is not to be missed.
Moving in land more we have the Fairwood Park Golf Club, located only 20 minutes drive away, set in 150 acres of fabulous woodland and parkland countryside and can still hold the claim of the only course within Swansea to have hosted a PGA event.
Just the other side of Fairwood common located in the village of Three Crosses you will find The Gower Golf Club, this is one of the newest course on the Gower yet offers features of a more mature courses. Views over the Loughor Estuary where the local world famous Penclawdd cockles are picked.

If you don't mind a little travelling for a quality day of golf then to the west of Swansea we have the Machynys Golf Club located on the edge of the Loughor Estuary, overseeing the project design has been Gary Nicklaus on behalf of his father, the legendary Jack Nicklaus. it has been seen as one of the best new links in Britain in 2010.
The the East of Swansea we have the small but equally good Lakeside Golf Club located adjacent to the M4 at junction 38.
The Grove Golf Club a few minutes off junction 37 the M4 near Porthcawl.
Also in Porthcawl is the well known Royal Porthcawl Golf Club, described by the late Tom Scott and one of the twelve finest courses in the world.
