Golf

For those who choose to unwind at the tees, the area boasts a number of courses, most notably Langland Golf Club, which offers a challenging days golf for all abilities set against the stunning backdrop of Langland bay.

Walking

The dramatic coastline and countryside of the Gower Peninsula offers a number of fabulous walks for both the casual stroller and experienced rambler.

For those who like to take things easy, why not take a wander along the promenade of Swansea Bay with fantastic views across the sea to Devon and up the valleys to the Brecon Beacons. The 7 mile promenade runs all the way from Mumbles Head to Swansea Marina, and is perfect for cycling, rollerblading, running or dropping down onto sandy Swansea Bay for sandcastle building, kite surfing or a dip in the sea.

Watersports

Llangennith and Oxwich Bays are renowned locations for surfing and windsurfing. Surf lessons for all standards are available at Llangennith and Caswell beaches. Lessons are also available at Caswell Beach with Gower surf school GSD the British Surfing Associations only 4 star surfing school in Wales, providing lessons from absolute beginners upward. Cycling

Ideal for family cycle rides or for those who like to take things easy, the promenade at Swansea Bay offers 7 miles of flat, uninterrupted cyclepath running along the beautiful Swansea Bay. For the serious cyclist, a short journey away is the Afan Valley Forest MTB Trails which are classified in the world's top 10 riding venues. Shopping

Located just 5 minutes walk on the seafront from Norton House apartments, Mumbles Village boasts a unique shopping experience for the discerning shopper. Newton Road is home to individual boutiques, fantastic specialist delis, exquisite hand crafted jewellery and gift shops, and delightful coffee shops.
